Oil Pan Installation Note

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Completely remove any oil, dirt, and silicone sealant adhering to the cylinder block and oil pan.

CAUTION:

If a bolt with a fixed liquid gasket is used, cracks may occur in the cylinder block, etc.

When re-using the oil pan mounting bolt, cleanly remove the liquid gasket attached to the bolt.
CAUTION:
- The liquid gasket should be applied so that there are no gaps all around.
- To prevent silicone sealant from hardening, seal the rear pan to the cylinder BLOCK firmly within 10 min after applying silicone sealant. After sealing, complete the installation bolt tightening immediately.

Apply silicone sealant (TB1217D) to the areas shown in the figure below.
