Front differential installation note

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Verify that there are no burrs in the locations shown in the figure below.
    • If there are burrs, remove them with sandpaper.

    1 Front differential side
    2 Oil pan side
    NOTE:
    • If there is oil on the oil pan side, wipe it off.
  2. Verify that the oil seal is not damaged, there is no foreign matter, and the spring is not detached.
    • If there is a malfunction, replace the oil seal.
  3. Verify that there is no foreign matter around the front differential installation area.
  4. Temporarily tighten bolt C and D.
  5. Tighten bolt C.
  6. Tighten bolt D.
  7. Tighten bolt C.
