Inspect Intake Manifold Vacuum

NOTE:
- Disconnect the evaporative hose (purge solenoid valve side) connecting the intake manifold and the purge solenoid valve and perform the procedure with the vacuum gauge installed.
- Perform the procedure while verifying that the intake system parts and hose are securely installed.
- Perform the procedure with the engine fully warmed up.
- Measure the intake manifold vacuum when idling (no load).
- If not within the standard, perform the following inspections.
- Compression pressure (See COMPRESSION INSPECTION [PYUL] )
- Check valve (between intake manifold and vacuum pump), check valve (between vacuum pump and power brake unit)
- Air suction
- Each vacuum hose connecting area
- Evaporative hose connecting area
- Throttle body installation area
- Fuel injector installation area
- PCV valve installation area
- Intake manifold installation area

Approx. -60.0 kPa {-450 mmHg, -18 inHg}
- If not within the standard, perform the following inspections.
