Front drive shaft installation note

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
  • The oil seal could be damaged at the end area of the front drive shaft. When installing the front drive shaft to the front differential, be careful not to damage the oil seal.
  1. Apply front differential oil to the oil seal lip.
  2. Insert the front drive shaft into the engine.
  3. Temporarily tighten the nuts shown in the figure below and then completely tighten them.
