Idle CO, HC concentration verification

  1. Verify that the idle speed and ignition timing are within the standard.
  2. Set up the CO, HC tester.
  3. Verify that the CO and HC concentrations are within the standard.
    • If there is a malfunction, refer to the symptom troubleshooting.
      • If there is no malfunction, replace the catalytic converter.
