High Pressure Fuel Pump Installation Note

  1. Rotate the crankshaft clockwise from TDC (position shown in figure below) of cylinder No. 1.

  2. Insert the high pressure fuel pump into the rear housing.
  3. Push the high pressure fuel pump until the O-ring of the high pressure fuel pump is no longer visible.
  4. Temporarily tighten the high pressure fuel pump mounting bolt until the head of one bolt on each side contacts the high pressure fuel pump.
  5. Tighten the high pressure fuel pump installation bolt that was not temporarily tightened in 4 procedure and.
