P2504: 00 (PCM (H3T)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Determination condition |
- When any of the following conditions is met.
Condition A
- The state in which the battery voltage is equal to or higher than the specified value V is continued for a predetermined time.
Condition B
- The state where the input voltage is higher than the specified value continues for the specified time.
Condition C
- The state in which the voltage at the output terminal of the drive motor is equal to or higher than the specified value continues for a predetermined time.
Condition D
- The DC-DC converter continues to exceed the specified value for a predetermined time.

- Power supply by the DC-DC converter step-down circuit is stopped.
- Power generation by the drive motor is stopped.
- Turn off the shut-off relay of the Mazda M Hybrid Boost battery and supply power from the battery to the vehicle electrical equipment (12 V power source).
- Performs vehicle speed restriction according to low battery voltage, and activates Auto P function at a vehicle speed of 5 km/h {3 mph} or less

- If the vehicle continues to be driven while the DTC is detected the battery will be depleted.
- A malfunction occurs with an electrical device and the vehicle stops.
- The following vehicle conditions differ depending on the malfunction conditions.
- A vehicle shock may occur due to generator load.
- Idling feel due to generator-stop may occur.
