Function Explanation (DTC Detection Outline)
- If more than the permissible amount of soot accumulates in the GPF, the PCM inhibits automatic GPF regeneration control.
- If the soot accumulation amount (estimated value) in the GPF is the standard or more, the PCM determines a GPF malfunction and stores a DTC.
NOTE:
- If DTC P24A4: 00 is stored, replace the catalytic converter (GPF).
