P2262: 00 (PCM (H3T)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- When PCM detects that the boost pressure is low even though the exhaust pressure is high during supply pressure control.

- Stops the variable turbine geometry turbocharger actuator operation
- Limits engine torque./Limits the maximum engine speed.
- Inhibits the automatic diesel particulate filter regeneration control.
- Inhibits the compulsory diesel particulate filter regeneration control.
- Inhibits the boost control.
- Inhibits the EGR control.
- Limit integrated engine-transmission control.

- Fixing of actuator in variable nozzle opening direction
- Malfunction in turbocharger with variable turbine geometry (Refer to [

- Turbine blade or compressor blade damage
- Runout, loss, or sticking due to turbine axis wear
- Variable nozzle open/fixed
- Blockage of exhaust system (Refer to [EXHAUST SYSTEM INSPECTION
] in service information).
- Diesel particulate filter clogged (damaged, melted)
- Clogging caused by freezing
- PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM INSPECTION
] in service information).

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC
.)
- Replicate the vehicle conditions at the time the DTC was detected using the following procedure.
WARNING:
- To prevent an accident, work with another person when the vehicle is being driven (one person drives vehicle, other person operates M-MDS).
- Observe legal speed limits when driving the vehicle and perform the procedure in a location where safety can be assured.
- Display PID MAP_DSD and MAP using the M-MDS.
- Start the engine and warm it up.
- Accelerate in 2nd gear to 40 km/h {25 mph}.
- Accelerate in 2nd gear from 40 km/h {25 mph} to 55 km/h {34 mph} taking 5 s or more.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 several times.
