- Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.
- Fixes the throttle valve opening angle.

| Possible cause |
- Throttle body malfunction (Refer to [THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION

- PCM malfunction
- Throttle valve actuator control driver internal processor error (built-into PCM)
- Fuel injector control driver internal processor error (built-into PCM) (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).
