- Malfunction in injection amount measurement system (refer to DTC P0101: 00

- Purge solenoid valve malfunction (Refer to [PURGE SOLENOID VALVE INSPECTION
] in service information).
- Air cleaner element restricted
- Throttle body passage blockage
- Engine malfunction (insufficient engine compression) (Refer to [COMPRESSION INSPECTION
] in service information).
- Generator control circuit malfunction (short circuit to power supply)
NOTE:
- The engine speed increases when an electric load such as a blower fan, rear window defogger, or headlight is activated.
- PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).
