DTC P0E0F-00: M Hybrid Boost Relay Control Circuit: Circuit Error

P0E0F: 00 (PCM (H3T)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location M Hybrid Boost relay control circuit: Circuit error
Detection condition
  • When PCM detects one of the following conditions:
    • When the PCM receives from the DC-DC converter (Mazda M Hybrid Boost) and drive motor control module via CAN communication that power supply voltage is not supplied or the supply voltage is low to the DC-DC converter and drive motor control module even though the M Hybrid Boost relay is controlled to be ON.
    • When the PCM receives by CAN communication from the DC-DC converter and drive motor control module that power supply voltage is supplied to the DC-DC converter and drive motor control module even though the M Hybrid Boost relay is controlled to be OFF.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. The following modules store DTCs.
  2. M Hybrid Boost relay malfunction (Refer to [RELAY LOCATION ] in service information).
  3. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between M Hybrid Boost relay and PCM (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  4. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between main relay and M Hybrid Boost relay (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  5. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between battery and M Hybrid Boost relay (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  6. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between M Hybrid Boost relay and DC-DC converter (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  7. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between M Hybrid Boost relay and drive motor control module (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  8. PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Replicate the vehicle conditions at the time the DTC was detected using the following procedure.
    1. Switch the ignition ON (engine on).
    2. Switch ignition off.
