Function Explanation (DTC Detection Outline)

The DC-DC converter is equipped with a voltage lowering function to enable a stable power supply to electrical devices.
When the DC-DC converter does not operate, the supply voltage to the electrical components decreases.
This diagnosis is performed to verify vehicle malfunctions/assure safety by detecting whether the DC-DC converter responds to the voltage lowering command of the PCM or whether the DC-DC converter is unable to perform voltage lowering using the on-board diagnostic function.
