DTC P06A1-00: Electric Control Valve System: Low Input

P06A1: 00 (PCM (H3T)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Electric control valve system: Low input
Detection condition
  • The electric control valve control voltage is less than the standard relative to the PCM control signal.
Fail-safe
  • Inhibits the A/C control.
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between main relay and electric control valve (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between electric control valve and PCM (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  3. Electric control valve malfunction (integrated with A/C compressor) (Refer to [A/C COMPRESSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
  4. PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Set the A/C temperature to MAX COLD.
  3. Turn the A/C switch on to operate the air conditioner.
  4. Verify that cold air is flowing from the air vent.
