Function Inspection Using M-MDS

P0219: 00 (PCM (H3T)) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Results Action
1 PURPOSE: VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION OR SERVICE INFORMATION AVAILABILITY 
  • Verify related Service Bulletins, on-line repair information, or Service Information availability.
  • Is any related Information available?
Yes Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available information.
  • If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.
No Go to the next step.
2 PURPOSE: INSPECT FOR OTHER RELATED DTCs 
  • Switch the ignition off, and then switch it ON (engine off).
  • Display the DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Has DTC P0336: 00 or P0337: 00 been recorded?
Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No Go to the next step.
3 PURPOSE: RECORD VEHICLE STATUS WHEN DTC WAS DETECTED TO UTILIZE WITH REPEATABILITY VERIFICATION 
  • Record the freeze frame data/snapshot data.
    NOTE:
    • Recording can be facilitated using the screen capture function of the PC.
- Go to the next step.
4 PURPOSE: VERIFY FUEL SYSTEM PART-RELATED DTCs 
  • Display the DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Has DTC related to the fuel system part been stored?
Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [PCM (H3T)] ).
No Go to the next step.
5 PURPOSE: IDENTIFY AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION-RELATED DTCS 
  • Display the TCM DTC using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Is a DTC displayed?
Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [TCM (NJ8A (X)- EC/NN8A (X)-EC/MM8A (X)-EC) ].)
No Go to the troubleshooting procedure to perform the procedure from Step 1.
