Function Inspection Using M-MDS

P0219: 00 (PCM (H3T)) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	PURPOSE: VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION OR SERVICE INFORMATION AVAILABILITY Verify related Service Bulletins, on-line repair information, or Service Information availability. Is any related Information available?	Yes	Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available information. If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	PURPOSE: INSPECT FOR OTHER RELATED DTCs Switch the ignition off, and then switch it ON (engine off). Display the DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Has DTC P0336: 00 or P0337: 00 been recorded?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	PURPOSE: RECORD VEHICLE STATUS WHEN DTC WAS DETECTED TO UTILIZE WITH REPEATABILITY VERIFICATION Record the freeze frame data/snapshot data. NOTE: Recording can be facilitated using the screen capture function of the PC.	-	Go to the next step.
4	PURPOSE: VERIFY FUEL SYSTEM PART-RELATED DTCs Display the DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Has DTC related to the fuel system part been stored?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (H3T)] ).
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	PURPOSE: IDENTIFY AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION-RELATED DTCS Display the TCM DTC using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Is a DTC displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [TCM (NJ8A (X)- EC/NN8A (X)-EC/MM8A (X)-EC) ].)
5		No	Go to the troubleshooting procedure to perform the procedure from Step 1.
