Inspection/action procedure
- Proceed with the inspection/action in the order from Step 1 below.
- After part repair or replacement, perform the repeatability verification procedure and perform a DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
- If the same DTC is displayed again as a result of the DTC inspection, go to the next step.
- Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between high-pressure fuel sensor and PCM.

Purpose/reason (possible cause) High fuel pressure sensor malfunction Referred to Service Information(s) item See HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP INSPECTION (VIN C AND VIN D) - Inspect high pressure fuel pump.
Purpose/reason (possible cause) Malfunction in high pressure fuel pump Referred to Service Information(s) item See HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP INSPECTION (VIN C AND VIN D) - Replace the PCM.
Purpose/reason (possiblecause) PCM malfunction (no other possible malfunction considered) Referred to Service Information(s) item See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN C AND VIN D) .
