DTC U040A-00: Error Signal Received From A/C Compressor Control Module

U040A:00 (DASH_ESU) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Error signal received from A/C compressor control module
Detection condition
  • The dash-electrical supply unit receives the error signal from the A/C compressor control module.
Fail-safe
  • Cancel the refrigerant system and high voltage battery cooling system.
  • Control at the default signal value.
Possible cause
  1. A/C compressor control module malfunction (Refer to [A/C COMPRESSOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
  2. Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
