DTC U0401-68: Error Signal Received From ECM (E-SKYACTIV PHEV)/Pcm (Except E-SKYACTIV PHEV)

U0401:68 (DASH_ESU) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Error signal received from ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV)
Detection condition
  • The dash-electrical supply unit receives the error signal from the ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV).
Fail-safe
  • Control at the default signal value.
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV). (See DTC TABLE [ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)] .) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (PYUL)] .) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (H3T)] .)
  2. ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV) malfunction (Refer to [ECM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ). (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
  3. Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
