DTC B1B96-23: Slide Switch (Front) Circuit Malfunction

B1B96:23 (DASH_ESU) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Slide switch (front) circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • The dash-electrical supply unit detects that slide switch (front) circuit is stuck on.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between driver-side power seat switch and position memory control module (slide switch (front) circuit) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  2. Driver-side power seat switch malfunction (Refer to [POWER SEAT SWITCH INSPECTION ] ).
  3. Position memory control module malfunction (Refer to [POSITION MEMORY CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
  4. Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
