Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	PURPOSE: INSPECT WIRING HARNESS (INCLUDING CONNECTOR/TERMINAL) BETWEEN REAR AIRFLOW MODE ACTUATOR AND REAR CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable circuit. (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Is the circuit normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1.
2	PURPOSE: VERIFY OTHER DTCs RELATED TO REAR AIRFLOW MODE ACTUATOR INTERNAL POTENTIOMETER CIRCUIT Perform the DTC inspection for the dash-electrical supply unit. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are other DTCs related to the rear airflow mode actuator internal potentiometer circuit displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE: ).
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	PURPOSE: INSPECT REAR AIRFLOW MODE LINK OPERATION Operate the rear airflow mode link manually. Does the rear airflow mode link operate smoothly?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Replace the rear A/C unit and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to [REAR A/C UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
4	PURPOSE: INSPECT REAR CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable part. (Refer to [ REAR CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT INSPECTION] ). Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
4		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to [REAR CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
Repair completion verification 1	PURPOSE: VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Replicate the vehicle conditions at the time the DTC was detected using the following procedure. Implement the repeatability verification procedure. (See Repeatability Verification Procedure ). Perform the DTC inspection for the dash-electrical supply unit. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the dash-electrical supply unit, then go to the next step. (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
Repair completion verification 1		No	Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 2	PURPOSE: VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
Repair completion verification 2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
