DTC B1548-00: Refrigerant Pressure Sensor: Negative Pressure Malfunction In Refrigerant For Cooling Vehicle Interior

  • If the necessary measures are not taken before servicing an electric vehicle, it could cause electrical shock and result in serious injury or, in the worst case, death. B1548:00 (DASH_ESU) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Refrigerant pressure sensor: Negative pressure malfunction in refrigerant for cooling vehicle interior
Pressure sensor (LH/RH) system: Negative pressure malfunction in refrigerant for cooling high voltage battery
Detection condition
  • When any of the following conditions is met:
    • The dash-electrical supply unit detects a negative pressure malfunction in the refrigerant for cooling the vehicle interior.
    • The dash-electrical supply unit detects a negative pressure malfunction in the refrigerant for cooling the high voltage battery.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
WARNING: <<High voltage>>
  1. Refrigerant leakage from refrigerant passage
  2. 2way valve for refrigerant malfunction (Refer to [ 2WAY VALVE FOR REFRIGERANT INSPECTION] ).
  3. Refrigerant pressure sensor malfunction (Refer to [REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION ] ).
  4. High voltage battery malfunction (internal parts malfunction) (Refer to [HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
  5. Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Switch the main power OFF.
  3. Switch the main power ON (READY on).
  4. Verify that both the vehicle interior cooling and the high voltage battery cooling system are operating.
  5. Wait for 30 s or more.
