DTC B13BD-49: Heated Steering Wheel Control Unit Internal Malfunction

B13BD:49 (DASH_ESU) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Heated steering wheel control unit internal malfunction
Detection condition
  • The dash-electrical supply unit detects the heated steering wheel control unit internal malfunction.
Fail-safe
  • Stops the steering warmer output.
Possible cause
  1. Heated steering wheel control unit malfunction (Refer to [HEATED STEERING WHEEL CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL ] ). (Refer to [HEATED STEERING WHEEL CONTROL UNIT INSTALLATION ] ).
  2. Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
