DTC inspection
- Using the M-MDS, perform a DTC inspection and verify if any rear ultrasonic sensor-related DTC is detected. (Refer to [DTC INSPECTION

DTC is detected
- Inspect for a possible cause of a detected DTC starting from the top. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [PAU]
] [DTC TABLE [VCM]
] in the Troubleshooting Service Information)
- If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the rear ultrasonic sensor. (See REAR ULTRASONIC SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
No DTC is detected
- Perform a visual inspection. (See Visual inspection )
- Inspect for a possible cause of a detected DTC starting from the top. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [PAU]
