Notification And Warning Amplifier Removal/Installation

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION )
2. Remove the following parts:
   1. Driver-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
   2. Driver-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
   3. Driver-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
   4. Passenger-side decoration panel (See REMOVE PASSENGER SIDE DECORATION PANEL )
   5. Driver-side lower panel (See DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (L.H.D.) )
3. Remove using the procedure shown in the figure below.

   3	Notification and warning amplifier component	-
   4	Screw	3 N.m {31 kgf.cm, 27 in.lb}
   5	Notification and warning amplifier	-

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
5. If the notification and warning amplifier is replaced, Perform the Configuration using the M-MDS).
6. Perform the power liftgate (PLG) initialization procedure. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE )
7. Initialize power outer mirror retract/return function. (See POWER OUTER MIRROR INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE )
