DTC inspection
- Using the M-MDS, perform a DTC inspection and verify if any telematics communication unit-related DTCs are detected. (Refer to [DTC INSPECTION
] in the Troubleshooting Service Information).
DTC is detected
- If DTC U3000:00, U3000:04, or U3000:09 is detected, replace the telematics communication unit. (See TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- If the detected DTC is other than U3000:00, U3000:04, or U3000:09, inspect for the possible cause of the detected DTC starting from the top. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [TCU]
] in the Troubleshooting Service Information).
- If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the telematics communication unit. (See TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
No DTC is detected
- Perform a visual inspection. (See Visual inspection )
