DTC inspection
- Using the M-MDS, perform a DTC inspection and verify if any emergency call speaker/microphone-related DTCs are detected. (Refer to [DTC INSPECTION

DTC is detected
- Inspect for a possible cause of a detected DTC starting from the top. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [TCU]
] [DTC TABLE [CMU]
] in the Troubleshooting Service Information)
- If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the emergency call speaker/microphone. (See MICROPHONE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . .)
No DTC is detected
- Perform a visual inspection. (See Visual inspection )
- Inspect for a possible cause of a detected DTC starting from the top. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [TCU]
