P2119-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- When the iginition is switched off, the difference between the actual throttle position and the initial throttle position setting is the specification or more.

| Fail-safe |
- Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.

| Possible cause |
- Throttle body connector or terminal malfunction (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION

- PCM connector or terminal malfunction (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION

- Drive-by-wire control malfunction (See ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM OPERATION INSPECTION [VIN Y]

- Throttle body (return spring) malfunction (Refer to applicable THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION (VIN Y)

- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC

- Switch the ignition ON (engine off) and wait for 1 min or more.
- Switch the ignition off.
- Perform the KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
