DTC P2110-00: Throttle Valve Actuator Control System: Limited Rpm

P2110-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Throttle valve actuator control system: limited RPM
Detection condition
  • PCM internal malfunction
Fail-safe
  • Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.
  • Fixes the throttle valve opening angle.
Possible cause
  1. Throttle body malfunction (Refer to applicable THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
  2. PCM malfunction
    • Throttle valve actuator control driver internal processor error (built-into PCM)
    • Fuel injector control driver internal processor error (built-into PCM) (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
