P18A2-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The PCM detects a short to ground in the coupling component temperature sensor signal circuit.

| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits the i-ACTIV AWD control.

| Possible cause |
- Coupling component temperature sensor malfunction (Refer to applicable COUPLING COMPONENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION

- Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between coupling component temperature sensor and electrical supply unit (ESU) (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION
