P18A1-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The PCM detects an open circuit or short to power supply in the differential oil temperature sensor signal circuit.

| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits the i-ACTIV AWD control.
|
| Possible cause |
- Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between differential oil temperature sensor and electrical supply unit (ESU) (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION

- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC

- Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
