DTC P06DC-00: Engine Oil Solenoid Valve Control Circuit: High Input

P06DC-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Engine oil solenoid valve control circuit: high input
Detection condition	If the PCM detects that the engine oil solenoid valve control current at the PCM terminal 1CK is specified value or more with the following condition met, the PCM determines that the engine oil solenoid valve circuit voltage is high. Precondition  Battery voltage: 8-16 V 0.5 s have elapsed after the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on) Engine oil solenoid valve control duty value: 5% or more
Fail-safe	PCM restricts engine torque.
Possible cause	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between main relay and engine oil solenoid valve (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) PCM connector or terminals malfunction (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Engine oil solenoid valve malfunction (Refer to ENGINE OIL SOLENOID VALVE INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
