P0463-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Fuel gauge sender unit system: High input
Detection condition	The fuel gauge sender unit output voltage is too high.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel gauge sender unit (main) and electrical supply unit (ESU) (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CLEARING DTC .) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel gauge sender unit (sub) and electrical supply unit (ESU) (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CLEARING DTC .) Fuel gauge sender unit (main) malfunction (Refer to applicable FUEL GAUGE SENDER UNIT INSPECTION in the service information.) Fuel gauge sender unit (sub) malfunction (Refer to applicable FUEL GAUGE SENDER UNIT INSPECTION in the service information.) Electrical supply unit (ESU) malfunction (Refer to applicable ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT (ESU) INSPECTION in the service information.) Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to applicable BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) INSPECTION in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
