P0335-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- No input signal from the crankshaft position sensor during specified rotation of the exhaust camshaft.
- The crankshaft position sensor input signal pattern received during specified rotation of the crankshaft is incorrect.

| Fail-safe |
- Stops fuel injection.
- Stops ignition.

| Possible cause |
- Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between CKP sensor and PCM (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION

- CKP sensor malfunction (Refer to CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR INSPECTION (VIN Y)
in the service information.)
- Dirt on CKP sensor detection area
- Damage on CKP sensor detection area
- CKP sensor pulse wheel malfunction
- PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y)
in the service information.)
