DTC P0327-00: KS System: Low Input

P0327-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location KS system: Low input
Detection condition
  • The specified period of time has elapsed while the KS voltage is low.
Fail-safe
  • Sets the knocking spark retard correction value of the ignition control to the fixed value.
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between KS and PCM (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. KS malfunction (Refer to KNOCK SENSOR (KS) INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
