DTC P0237-00: Boost Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input

P0237-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Boost pressure sensor circuit low input
Detection condition
  • The PCM monitors the input voltage from boost pressure sensor. If the input voltage at the PCM terminal 2E is standard or less, the PCM determines that the boost pressure sensor circuit has a malfunction.
Fail-safe
  • Stop the supercharging pressure control. (fully open the wastegate valve)
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between PCM and boost pressure sensor (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Boost pressure sensor malfunction (Refer to applicable BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
