DTC P0182-00: Fuel Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Input

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
P0182-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Fuel temperature sensor circuit low input
Detection condition
  • The PCM monitors the fuel temperature sensor signal. If the PCM detects that the fuel temperature sensor voltage at the PCM terminal 1AA is standard or less, the PCM determines that the fuel temperature sensor circuit has a malfunction.

Precondition
  • Battery voltage: 8 V or more
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. Fuel temperature sensor malfunction (Refer to FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION (VIN Y) in service information.)
  2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between PCM and low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
