Function Explanation (DTC Detection Outline)

- If the engine coolant temperature detected by the ECT sensor No. 1 does not increase to the standard or more within the specified period of time after the engine is started, the PCM determines that the ECT sensor No. 1 is malfunctioning and stores a DTC.
