DTC P0111-00: IAT Sensor No. 1 Circuit Range/Performance Problem

P0111-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The condition has continued in which difference in intake air temperature measured by the IAT sensor No. 2 or boost air temperature sensor and IAT sensor No. 1 is standard or more or standard or less.
Precondition
- Period vehicle being left: 6 h or more
- Battery voltage: 8 V or more
- Within 20 s after engine start
- The following DTCs are not detected:
- Boost air temperature sensor: P007C-00: and P007D-00:
- IAT sensor No. 1: P0110-00: and U060F-00:
- IAT sensor No. 2: P0097-00: and P0098-00:

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC
.)
- Replicate the vehicle conditions at the time the DTC was detected using the following procedure.
WARNING:
- While performing this step, always operate the vehicle in a safe and lawful manner.
- When the M-MDS is used to observe monitor system status while driving, be sure to have another technician with you, or record the data in the M-MDS using the PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD capturing function and inspect later.
- Drive the vehicle under the freeze frame data/snapshot data condition.
- Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM. (See DTC INSPECTION
