DTC P0107-00: Map Sensor System: Low Input

P0107-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location MAP sensor system: Low input
Detection condition
  • The specified period of time has elapsed while the MAP sensor voltage is less than the standard.
Fail-safe
  • Estimates MAP using MAF sensor and engine speed.
  • Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.
  • Inhibits the evaporative purge control.
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between MAP sensor and PCM (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  2. MAP sensor malfunction (Refer to MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR INSPECTION (VIN Y) in service information.)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
