- Any one of the following conditions is met:
- CAN communication line malfunction between LF control unit and PCM
- LF control unit internal malfunction
- PCM internal malfunction

| Possible cause |
- DTCs are stored in the PCM. (other than P061F-00:) (See DTC TABLE
.)
- Malfunction in CAN communication line between LF control unit and PCM
NOTE:
- Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See DTC TABLE
.)
- LF control unit malfunction (Refer to applicable CONNECTOR INSPECTION
in the service information.)
- PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y)
in the service information.)

- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC
.)
- Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
