DTC P0600-00: Serial Communication Link

P0600-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Serial communication link
Detection condition
  • PCM internal malfunction.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Start the engine and warm it up completely.
  3. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
