Intention of troubleshooting procedure

- Step 1
- Perform inspection of engine oil leakage.
- Step 2
- Perform inspection of engine oil level.
- Step 3
- Inspect for clogging of oil strainer.
- Step 4
- Perform an inspection of the connectors and wiring harnesses between the engine oil pressure sensor and PCM.
- Step 5-6
- Perform a unit inspection of the engine oil pressure sensor and engine oil solenoid valve.
- Repair completion verification
- Verify that the primary malfunction is resolved and there are no other malfunctions.

| 4 | PURPOSE: INSPECT WIRING HARNESS (INCLUDING CONNECTOR/TERMINAL) BETWEEN ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR AND PCM FOR MALFUNCTION

| Repair completion verification 1 | PURPOSE: VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED

Yes | Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
