DTC P0533-00: Refrigerant Pressure Sensor No. 1 System: High Input

P0533-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 system: High input
Detection condition
  • Refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 voltage exceeds the standard.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 and PCM (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  2. Refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 malfunction (Refer to applicable REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] or REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER] in the service information.)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
