P0524-00: (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The specified period of time has elapsed while the engine hydraulic pressure decreases below the reference value after the specified time since the engine was started.*
*: With the conditions met, the engine oil warning indication is displayed/engine oil warning light turns on. |

- Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC
.)
- Start the engine.
- Increase and keep the engine speed at 2, 500 rpm for 5 s.
- Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM. (See DTC INSPECTION
