U3000:41 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	PCM processing device
Detection condition	Communication error in the PCM.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	PCM malfunction (Detected non-volatile memory failure related to immobilizer system in PCM) (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
