DTC U212E-00: Can Communication System: Communication Error With Door Electrical Supply Unit (Driver's Side)

U212E:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	CAN communication system: Communication error with door electrical supply unit (driver's side)
Detection condition	If a communication error between the PCM and the door electrical supply unit (driver's side) persists for a specified time.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Malfunction in CAN communication line between PCM and door electrical supply unit (driver's side) NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) Door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) malfunction (Refer to applicable DOOR-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT INSPECTION in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
