DTC U0336-00: SAS Control Module Malfunction

U0336:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	SAS control module malfunction
Detection condition	If any of the following conditions is met for a continuous specified time. When there is an error in the CAN communication line malfunction between PCM and SAS control module. SAS control module internal malfunction
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	DTCs are stored in the following modules. (CAN driver malfunction) SAS control module (See DTC TABLE [SAS] .) PCM (other than U0336:00) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (VIN Y)] .) Malfunction in CAN communication line (including connector/terminal) between SAS control module and PCM. NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) SAS control module malfunction (Refer to applicable SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
