DTC U0323-00: Instrument Cluster Malfunction

U0323:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Instrument cluster malfunction
Detection condition	If any of the following conditions is met for a continuous specified time. CAN communication line malfunction between PCM and instrument cluster. Instrument cluster internal malfunction
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	DTCs are stored in the following modules. (CAN driver malfunction) Instrument cluster (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .) PCM (other than U0323:00) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (VIN Y)] .) Malfunction in CAN communication line (including connector/terminal) between instrument cluster and body control module (BCM) NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) Malfunction in CAN communication line (including connector/terminal) between body control module (BCM) and PCM NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) Instrument cluster malfunction (Refer to applicable INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INSPECTION in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
