DTC U0315-00: DSC HU/Cm Error

U0315:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	DSC HU/CM error
Detection condition	When any of the following conditions is met: CAN communication line malfunction between DSC HU/CM and PCM DSC HU/CM internal malfunction
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	DTCs are stored in the following modules. (CAN driver malfunction) DSC HU/CM (See DTC TABLE [DSC] .) PCM (other than U0315:00) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (VIN Y)] .) Malfunction in CAN communication line (including connector/terminal) between DSC HU/CM and PCM NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) DSC HU/CM malfunction (Refer to applicable REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
