DTC U0302-00: TCM Processing Device

U0302:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	TCM processing device
Detection condition	If any of the following conditions is met for a continuous specified time. When there is a problem with the CAN communication line between TCM and PCM. There is a malfunction in the TCM.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Malfunction in CAN communication line (including connector/terminal) between TCM and PCM NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) TCM detects DTCs (See DTC TABLE [TCM] .) DTCs are stored in the following modules. (CAN driver malfunction) TCM (See DTC TABLE [TCM] .) PCM (other than U0302:00) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (VIN Y)] .) TCM malfunction (Refer to applicable CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GW6AX-EL] in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
